Food Tour in Seremban

This time, Avalon brings you a tour in the sensational delicious food available in Seremban, my own home town. Well, I would like to thank my uncle for the delicious dinner =). I get to know this restaurant also because of my uncle. The dish name will be pronounced in Cantonese.



Avalon brings you Restaurant Man Xiang Cheng.
It's a restaurant that also cooks home dishes in Seremban itself. This shop is located before Restaurant Oriental in Temiang. Or you can say it's near the old "Odian Cinema". This restaurant is newly open.






Properties of the restaurant:
a) The restaurant is clean, I would like to give it an A- for its cleanliness.
b) The restaurant is double story and its air-conditioned on the upper level.
c) Workers there are quite polite.
d) Lightings all alright, Ventilation all set and ok~

Food Ate;
Dish no.1
I bet there is no necessary for me to explain whats on my left; It's a dish. Consists of abalone, giant mushroom, "hoi sum" a type of seafood, and also vegetable. Practically the abalon is cooked just nice, you can taste the natural taste of it and also the "spongyness" of it. Accompany by the smoothness of the sauce, a bite will take you to paradise. The sauce is not too salty, just nice to match the abalone. The mushroom is a perfect match for the dish, a bite of it and the sauce oozes out and give you a very nice expression when you bite it. You can imagine that yourself. As for "Hoi Sum" I didnt taste it, because I don't like to eat it!!!

Dish no. 2


This dish is called Mangolia Pork ["Mongu Pai Kuat"] The sauce is very smooth, but has a strong taste of black pepper. For those black pepper lover, here you are~ A nice taste of the black pepper sauce~ The sauce has a "human-skin colour". Curry leaf is added as spice in this dish. The pork is cooked just nice, as it would be like a chewing gum!!




Dish no. 3

This dish is called as "Kai Lan cooked with Scallop". This dish can say the most natural dishes among the dishes i'm introducing soon. You can taste the natural taste of the scallop; the seafood taste of it. It just taste so good and you would feel like taking another scallop. As for the "Kai Lan" a type of veggy, it is cook just nice also, won't take bitter, or people describe it as old for certain chinese people. This dish suits for the old people or those who are sick~



Dish no 4

What does it looks like to you?
This dish is called "Clay Pot Fish Head" ["Sa Pou Yu Tau"]. The dish is cook with fish which has chopped or sliced into regular-sized cube. The sauce is brown coloured and has an undescriable feeling. It tastes so good until you spceehless. The sauce is too hard to describe, but you'll have to try it. The fish 100% match perfectly with the sauce cooked.




Dish no 5


I bet everyone knows what is displayed on the left. It's crab ofcourse =). This is the one of the main dishes of the restaurant. This dish is called "Duck egg~Crab" ["Ham Tan Hai']. The sauce you can taste the duck egg-yolk melts on your tongue giving a nice taste when you give a bite on the crabs' meat.





Overall, I will rate the food quality is 8/10 . Don't ask me the price of all the dishes because I'm not the one who pays the bill and resit is not issued/taken. There you go again, concerning about food; everyone will have different taste. If anyone of you interested to ask me to advertise your shop and etc.. Hoi sum = sea cucumber
kai lan aka kale
ham tan = salty egg (it make frm duck egg though but ham=salty and tan=egg so pickle egg is best used if in english)
