A Journey Called Life--

A Journey Called Life--

Exactly one week ago, on the 9th of June 2010...There were 9 youngster went to Pantai Waterfalls for camping for a day. Water from the Pantai Waterfals is the source of water resources in my district; Seremban. Journey started from Seremban at 9am++ from Blossom Food Court. It takes us about 40minutes to reach Mun's Agriculture; my friends farm.

Our commando 1 [Kelvin Mun] is giving us briefing about the waterfalls, the danger, the safety, emergency times and so on...His briefing indeed short and compact with solid facts. Way to go commando! Everyone let's prepare!

Commando 1 is doing his job very well, sharpening a few parang brought by himself, jem's and yew loong's. You have no idea how pro he is in river tracing. He hop from one stone to another to trace the river, unlike us the poor ones have to walk on it..

Mr Rambo is ready to depart...He is fully equipped with parangs and some necessary items for River Tracing, Most important item to carry is your camera Jems!

The Begining

This is the spot where we have begin not long, hehe, these are the youths who are going for rivering tracing at the Pantai Waterfalls. Everything started so nice, even the weather is nice itself.

The Process; Journey.

The process of tracing up to the top requires patience, teamwork, endurance and perseverance. Lacking of one of these qualities except teamwork is difficult to climb all the way up to the top of the waterfall. The obstacle is very difficult, as you require patience to cross them one by one...The obstacle include fast current, slippery rocks, unstable rocks, climbing some slopes

Oh no! There's a snorlex blocking our way! Somebody get poke flute to wake him up! Oh please not jigglypuff =p...It's time for relaxation half way thorugh!!! Everyone is exhausted abit~ kinda worn out of breath by overcoming the obstacle~ Some busy drying clothes because they dropped into the water and got wet, some busy playing with the water. The water there was so clear and clean till you can drink it on the spot!!! The water is refreshing cool too...

After 5 hours of journey...

All the members perform their jobs accordingly eventhough we are 2 hours behind schedule... Commander Kelvin and Patrick set up the tents, yew loong and shang jun collecting firewoods, and me & joshua will be the chefs for the camp... We enjoyed cooking it!

Expect the Unexpected!!!

Going all these trips, always expect the unexpected things will happen. So, the statement came through during the late evening. The rain fell onto the surface of the Earth. It wasn't raining heavily...But, everyone is in cold, fire can't really be started seems some of the firewoods were wet!!! all we can do is rely on the fire we built for cooking for heat. Some even enjoy bathing in the cold river water at 8pm at night!!! The clock now shows 8.30pm, the rain is still falling.
The water level rise as sudden up till the campsite!! The water rise faster than I've expected and studied in Geology~ I've just realised that top the mountain perhaps is raining heavily and contributes to the unexpected rise of water level. The current became faster too! Everyone evacuated by packing important stuff to the camp, as some tied the camp to the tree as not to be flushed away by the current. Everyone abandonned the campsite by ONLY choice; climbing the slope by the camping ground to escape...Thank god, everyone escaped without injury...

The next day~

We went back to our campsite to do some clean up... Miracles happened!!! Everything we put in the camp is still there~It's a wise choice to flee from such a dangerous situation occured last night. I'm busy preparing fire for people to cook. Saw the leng zhai chef there? He cooks nice sambal belacan + luncheon meat lolz!!! Ofcourse in some situation, a flutist has his use in controlling the intensity of the fire by channeling the air to the fire!! LOLz~~

The Survival Team

After through a rough night, we survived and we called ourselves "The Survival Team".

Broadcast : I would like to thank Mun's Agriculture to keep us for one night~
